The Hall of Farewell is a pavilion in the countryside that looks into the north face of the Cimitero Maggiore in Padua.
It’s connected to the building of the crematorium by a sort of “functional navel.” The plan is designed so that when the visitor arrives just the first building appears, the one in which the ceremonies take place. Four slightly crooked septums, combined together, form the perimeter of the pavilion.
